I’m not too sure why people think Caroline is a phony. She’s the only one out of all the New Jersey housewives who has shown herself in every light. When she’s mad, mean, caring, motherly, loyal, offended, honest, emotional—she has shown it on camera. Even better, she acknowledges it and is very aware of her behavior. To me that’s being real. She doesn’t even have to justify or attempt to do so, like some people (Ahem-Teresa (!)) Furthermore, she apologizes when she’s wrong (i.e. to her first impression of Kathy and Melissa; how she’s supports Lauren and is honest with her.)

Now, the reunion turned chaotic at times, and though it seemed the three women (four really, if you count Jacqueline) were attacking Teresa. When in reality what they were doing was responding to Teresa’s behavior all season long. Let’s not kid ourselves, Ms. Giudice didn’t do herself any favors by how she acted all season long. And even when confronted she never admitted to her faults, doing wrong. I call this delusional, and that’s clear. (i.e. She wrongly responded to Kathy’s comment about leaving her children; She defended and openly condoned her husband’s use of the word “faggot”) !

There were a few low blows and none-of-your-business moments from both sides. For instance, Teresa bringing up Dina, when Caroline has done a good job of keeping it private. Or when Teresa mentioned how Caroline didn’t speak to all her siblings, also not been mentioned on camera. Or when Caroline criticized Teresa’s parent—albeit, Teresa might not be the best mommy—it wasn’t her place to comment on.

That said, the conclusion to this season proves that Caroline hasn’t changed from the start, she has the most depth to her (from matriarch to radio host). She protects her family and herself from people who try to come between. She ripped Teresa a new one, because let’s face it, Teresa’s ego and attitude have grown so much. Caroline proved this by subtly mentioning all the tabloids Teresa has sold out to just for fame. Point Caroline. She even calls Teresa selfish. Point Caroline. And she tells her she’s “full of shit.” Two points Caroline.

Now, if someone can reasonably say Teresa did no wrong—which is impossible—and prove to me Caroline is a phony, then I will understand how people can be Team Teresa. I mean, Caroline said the word “SWAGGER” how can you not love her?!
